A message from Andrea Cunningham, Head of Informal Learning and Access @ The National Maritime Museum:
We need you to shape our future!
There are 10 places for a special one day workshop just for you at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. The ‘Sailing to Britain’ crew are invited to help us shape a new gallery due to open at the Museum in 2011.
Saturday 5 December 2009
National Maritime Museum, Greenwich
11.00 – 16.00
The gallery will be about trade in the Indian Ocean, and how this has affected people’s lives in Britain and Asia. We are looking for enthusiastic people with great creative ideas and inspiration on how this new gallery can appeal to future generations of young people.
No previous experience necessary, you just need to be keen, interested and up for some fun.
Pizza lunch will be provided and all participants will receive a free ticket to London’s only Planetarium.
If you would like to participate please contact Sarah Clews on 020 8333 4457 or via email to admin@tara-arts.com by Thursday 3rd December 2009.
